Description:
The Events-based area (EBA) is part of the Intake Protection Zones (IPZ) for a municipal intake. It represents the area where if a contaminant (based on modelled conditions) was spilled, it could be a threat to the drinking water source. IPZ zones don’t overlap each other; an EBA can overlap the Intake Protection Zones.
