Dataset produced during the research project "Sound Art Documentation : Spatial Audio and Significant Knowledge", funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC), and documented in the paper "Review of contemporary sound installation practices in Québec" published in the journal Resonance.
It provides a classification of contemporary sound installations in Québec based on a taxonomy developed during the project. The development of the taxonomy and the classification of items occurred in a continuous process controlled by theoretical sampling. The production of this dataset is linked to a specific paper.
