This dataset contains the experimental materials and stimuli as well as r scripts that were used in Brisson, V., Tremblay, P. (2021), Improving speech perception in noise in young and older adults using transcranial magnetic stimulation. Brain and Language.
The task is an original auditory discrimination task that includes identical or different pairs of French syllables that were selected based on SyllabO+, a corpus and database of spoken Quebec French (Bédard et al., 2017). The stimuli and tasks were developed at the Speech and hearing neuroscience laboratory in Quebec City (www.speechneurolab.ca).
The R scripts for the linear mixed-model analyses and regression analyses are also provided.
Note: Up to 1000 features for each file are displayed
