Description:
Contains data on the location of bike paths in York Region as well as details about the path such as, surface type, facility class (i.e. shared road, bike lane, etc...) and the path length. The data is a line network representing existing bike facilities within York Region. Bike facility types identified are: bike lane, cycle track, off-road multi use trail, paved shoulder, shared pathway (in-boulevard), shared roadway (signed route), shared roadway (unsigned route), and connections.

ACTUAL_LENGTH: The complete length of the bike facility system. This is not the length field that is generate by ArcGIS.
CONSTRUCTION_START: The date that construction is to start in buliding the bike facility system.
COMMENTS: Comments in reference to the bike facility system.
SOURCE: The organization that provided the GIS data.
SOURCETYPE: The method of verification utilized by the source organization in confirming the bike facility class, status, etc.
OWNER: The organization that owns and maintains the bike facility.
CREDATE: Feature create date
CREBY: Feature created by
SHARED_USE:
MODDATE: Geometry modification date
MODBY: Attribute modified by
MODTYPE: The type of modification made on the feature, ie attribute or geometry or both.
MTN_BIKE: Bike facilities that allow for mountain biking.
ON_ROAD: Bike facilities that are on road.
BIKE_FACILITY_NAME: The name of the bike facility system.
BIKE_FACILITY_SYSTEM: The name of the bike facility system. For example, if this is part of a larger trail system, such as the Bruce Trail.
BIKE_FACILITY_SEGMENT: The name of the segment of the bike facility.
SURFACE: The material of the surface of the bike facility system.
BIKE_FACILITY_CLASS: The classification of the bike facility system.
BIKE_FACILITY_STATUS: The status of the bike facility.
CYCLING: Bike facilities that allow cycling.
PEDESTRIAN_ONLY: Trails that are for pedestrians only.
