Description:
The Municipal Government Act authorizes the Minister to make grants to municipalities in which farm land is exempt from municipal taxation in accordance with the formula outlined in the Act. The acreage by municipal unit is provided by the Property Valuation Services Corporation. La Loi sur l'administration municipale autorise le ministre à accorder des subventions aux municipalités dont les terres agricoles sont exemptées de l'impôt municipal conformément à la formule énoncée dans la Loi. La superficie par unité municipale est fournie par la Property Valuation Services Corporation.
