Description:
Canada This dataset contains results of a 30-day feeding trial testing the effect of AquaArom (a seaweed meal derived from brown seaweeds of the genus Laminaria) in Atlantic salmon smolts. Overall, the data indicate that inclusion of AquaArom in the diet of Atlantic salmon smolts increases food consumption and enhances growth performance, improves plasma and tissue antioxidant capacity, and alleviates adverse effects of temperature stress.
