Atlantic Coastal Action Program (ACAP) Cape Breton 2022-04-27 ACAP Cape Breton is an environmental non-profit organization that offers the knowledge that Cape Bretoners need to make greener choices, and works directly on practical solutions that help protect and restore our natural environment. Since its beginning in 1992, ACAP Cape Breton has evolved into a dynamic group that integrates environmental, social and economic factors into projects focusing on action, education and ecosystem planning. In September of 2021, our stream restoration crew re-established an in-stream temperature monitoring program. This program aims to provide annual temperature readings in current, planned and potential restoration sites. This data will help to inform us of the impact of our work and of sites that may require attention in the future. https://opendatacommons.org/licenses/by/1-0/

Atlantic Coastal Action Program (ACAP) Cape Breton 2021-10-22 Data was collected during stream restoration efforts in these areas. Water quality monitoring shows change over the course of four years (2014-2017) both before and after digger logs, deflectors, debris jam removals, etc. were completed. This data was collected to monitor change in chemical makeup to ensure our restoration efforts contributed to more favorable salmonid habitat in these water bodies over the course of time. https://opendatacommons.org/licenses/by/1-0/
