Nzotungicimpaye, Claude-Michel 2022-03-15 WETMETH is a new wetland methane model developed for implementation in Earth system models. It is currently embedded in the frozen ground version of the University of Victoria Earth System Climate Model (UVic ESCM), an Earth system model of intermediate complexity (EMIC). Here we provide model output files with all variables analyzed in the model description manuscript. These model outputs include results from a historical run from 1850 to 2019 and sensitivity runs over the 2000-2009 decade.

Chimuka, V. Rachel; Nzotungicimpaye, Claude-Michel; Zickfeld, Kirsten 2023-05-31 Earth system model data (time series) simulating the land and ocean carbon response in (i) a CDR-reversibility scenario and (ii) a zero emissions scenario. Both scenarios are run in fully coupled, biogeochemically and radiatively coupled modes. Spatial data is also included for the radiatively coupled CDR-reversibility scenario. This data was generated by the University of Victoria's Earth System Climate Model (UVic-ESCM).

Nzotungicimpaye, Claude-Michel 2023-10-31 Climate simulations by the University of Victoria Earth System Climate Model (UVic ESCM) aimed at investigating the importance of urgent methane mitigation, alongside reaching net-zero carbon emissions by mid-century, to comply with the 2°C global warming limit. These model simulations are associated with a publication in Communications Earth & Environment by Nzotungicimpaye et al.

Map search instructions

1.Turn on the map filter by clicking the “Limit by map area” toggle.
2.Move the map to display your area of interest. Holding the shift key and clicking to draw a box allows for zooming in on a specific area. Search results change as the map moves.
3.Access a record by clicking on an item in the search results or by clicking on a location pin and the linked record title.
Note: Clusters are intended to provide a visual preview of data location. Because there is a maximum of 50 records displayed on the map, they may not be a completely accurate reflection of the total number of search results.
