<div>This dataset provides draft population, employment and housing unit forecast data for Peel Region by Community Planning Area, prepared in November, 2018. These forecasts are provided for each Community Planning Area for each Census year (5-year intervals from 2016 to 2041). Population values include a net under-coverage (undercount) that has been applied. Use the <a href='https://www.peelregion.ca/planning-maps/datahub/regionofpeeldraftgrowthforecasts_attributesummary.pdf' rel='nofollow ugc' target='_blank'><b>data dictionary</b></a> to assist you with understanding the fields provided in the file.</div><div><br /></div><div><b>These forecasts have not been approved by Regional Council and have no formal planning status.</b> They have been prepared for information and analysis purposes only. These forecasts reflect the best information available at this time, and are subject to change.</div><div><br /></div><div>Note: Community Planning Areas C22, C31, C32, C33 and C34 represent potential future greenfield lands for the purpose of testing servicing costs. If you are looking for forecasts for something unrelated to the Official Plan or Planning, these forecasts may be suitable for your forecasting needs. While they are subject to change through the planning process, the high level trends and distribution should remain largely unchanged and will still provide highly valuable data.</div><div><br /></div><div><b>When Shouldn't I Use These Forecasts?</b></div><div>You shouldn't use these forecasts if you require official forecast values, if you are comparing to the current approved Regional Official Plan, or for official Planning purposes.</div>
