2020-08-26 'READ ME - File and data information.xlsx' contains a short description of the files and data included in this dataset. Data from radio frequency identification (RFID) tracers deployed in the San Juan River, British Columbia, Canada from September 2015 to August 2019 and in-channel topographic changes during this period. RFID tracer data: shapefiles of tracer recovery locations (including attribute information), burial depths histograms, path length distributions (raw and scaled), path length and relative mobility as a function of grain size, total excess stream power relations, and mean scaled travel distances as a function of dimensionless peak stream power. Topographic change data: DEMs of difference (DoDs) from 2015 to 2018, and 2018 to 2019. Plots of tracer burial depth as a function of net elevation change in DoD.

2022-04-09 Various service provision models for youth at risk of homelessness have been researched and implemented, including access to housing, physical and mental health resources, etc. However, there has been no alleviation in symptoms of depression and anxiety and the rate of drug use in these populations. This paper presents the results of a mixed-methods study in London, Canada, that examined the feasibility of implementing the SKY Schools intervention in at-risk youth aged between 16-25 (n=49). The study also recorded qualitative responses about the program’s usefulness from the perspective of the service users. The SKY schools intervention consisted of social-emotional learning combined with Sudarshan Kriya Yoga, a standardized yoga-based breathing exercise routine. The intervention program was divided into two phases; an active learning phase and a reinforcement phase. The results demonstrated that it is feasible to conduct a definitive trial in this population due to a high retention rate (61.2%) and overall positive feedback. Future researchers may consider the feedback received when designing a randomized control trial to further assess efficacy and tolerability.

2022-02-07 This dataset contains the Mplus analysis files for the multi-level modelling analysis of student COVID-19 school infections in Ontario for the 2020-21 school year that appears in the paper, 'Effects of socio-economic factors on elementary school student infections in Ontario, Canada (Srivastava et al., 2022, medRxiv). Model 1 calculates the proportion of variance attributable to Level 1 (school level) and Level 2 (area level). Model 2 includes Level 1 and Level 2 predictors. Models 1 and 2 are computed for cumulative cases and cumulative incidence (per 1000 students). Both .inp and .out files can be read using a .txt editor. The aggregated dataset used for analysis and codebook are available here: Lau, Nathan T.T.; Ansari, Daniel; Thampi, Nisha; Srivastava, Prachi, 2022, "Final Dataset for Analysis of Student COVID-19 Infections in Schools (Ontario 2020-21)", https://doi.org/10.5683/SP3/VKK7BR, Scholars Portal Dataverse,

2022-02-02 Preliminary Ontario tornado data (year, month, F/EF scale rating). First file contains all verified Ontario tornadoes from 1875 to 2019, as of 2 Feb 2022. Second file contains all verified tornadoes from 1875 to 2019 in southern Ontario rated F/EF2 or higher, as of 2 Feb 2022. The full final version of the Ontario tornado database will be formally published when complete and made publicly available (later in 2022).

2020-07-19 This dataset contains tabular and spatial data related to experiments of alluvial cover formation in a straight and sinuous fixed-bed channel. The total cover extent, stored mass (kg/m^2), and output-to-input ratio of the sediment transport rate are stored in the spreadsheets. The shapefiles of the cover extent each 20 minutes of runtime are organized in folders by experiment. A detailed explanation of the methodologies used to obtain this data can be found in the article Welber et al. (2020): "Experiments on restoring alluvial cover in straight and meandering rivers using gravel augmentation", River Research and Applications (linked below).

2022-09-08 The UNI-CEN Digital Boundary File Series facilitates the mapping of UNI-CEN census data tables. Boundaries are provided in multiple formats for different use cases: Esri Shapefile (SHP), geoJson, and File Geodatabase (FGDB). SHP and FGDB files are provided in two projections: NAD83 CSRS for print cartography and WGS84 for web applications. The geoJson version is provided in WGS84 only. For more information about file sources, the methods used to create them, and how to use them, consult the documentation at https://ir.lib.uwo.ca/nest_observatory_docs/. 2021-04-16 These data comprise the cognitive test and survey data used in the publication, "Seeing through brain fog: disentangling the cognitive, physical, and mental health sequalae of COVID-19." In this online study, we recruited participants from around the world who reported having had a positive test for COVID-19. After signing up, participants completed a survey with items about demographics, health, and COVID-19 history. These (organized) questionnaire data are found in one .CSV file of this dataset. Following the questionnaire, participants completed 12 cognitive tasks of the Cambridge Brain Sciences online test battery - which we have used for other large scale online studies of cognition (see e.g., Hampshire et al., 2012, Wild et al. 2018). These (parsed and organized) data are found in a separate .CSV file in this dataset. Analysis scripts and code, including a viewable notebook with embedded images and tables, can be found at https://github.com/TheOwenLab/2021-Wild-et-al-COVID-Cognition.

Map search instructions

1.Turn on the map filter by clicking the “Limit by map area” toggle.
2.Move the map to display your area of interest. Holding the shift key and clicking to draw a box allows for zooming in on a specific area. Search results change as the map moves.
3.Access a record by clicking on an item in the search results or by clicking on a location pin and the linked record title.
Note: Clusters are intended to provide a visual preview of data location. Because there is a maximum of 50 records displayed on the map, they may not be a completely accurate reflection of the total number of search results.
