This Voice of the People poll seeks the opinions of Canadians, on predominantly economic, political, and social issues. The questions ask opinions of corruption in society, incidences of bribery, support for civilians in armed conflict, Japan, and attributes of countries. There are also questions on other topics of interest such as the Geneva Conventions, job security, and prospects for 2009. The respondents were also asked questions so that they could be grouped according to geographic and social variables. Topics of interest include: corruption; bribery; Japan; civilians in armed conflict; job security; Japan; peace; and attributes of countries. Basic demographic variables are also included.
