This ArcGIS Online vector tile cached map service returns tiled vector geometries and associated styles for use in web mapping applications and provides capabilities as per the [Open Geospatial Consortium Web Mapping Tile Service (WMTS) Protocol](http://www.opengeospatial.org/standards/wmts). Map images are output in Web Mercator projection (EPSG:3857) and match Google map tile scale levels.
This service is made available in two versions. The standard version includes hillshade and is intended as the default version for most applications. The version without hillshade can be used where a simpler cartographic background is needed, or where applications do not support the multi-layer approach of the standard version.
