Interprovincial trade, summary level

Description:
This table displays interprovincial trade indices, and interprovincial trade as a share of total trade. Note that the base year for all indices is 1981, except for Northwest Territories and Nunavut (which is 1999). Interprovincial trade as a share of total trade is calculated by determining the ratio of total interprovincial trade to the total provincial trade.
Ce tableau présente les indices des échanges interprovinciaux, et le commerce interprovincial en proportion du commerce total. Il est à noter que l’année de base pour tous les indices est 1981, sauf pour les Territoires du Nord-Ouest et le Nunavut (qui est 1999). Le commerce interprovincial en proportion du commerce total est calculé en déterminant le rapport entre le total des échanges interprovinciaux et le commerce total de la province.
