Trails may cross busy intersections, rail lines, and private property. Please follow the signage and use common sense and your best judgement when encountering dangerous situations along the trails.</span></p> The trails are connected to Peel's <a href='https://data.peelregion.ca/datasets/streets/explore' rel='nofollow ugc'>Streets feature class</a> so that it can be used in conjunction with the road network to perform pedestrian network routing (under the assumption that every road that's not a 400-series freeway has sidewalks).<p></p> <p>The digitizing of the network is done with yearly 7.5cm orthoimagery.</p> https://data.peelregion.ca/pages/license

Contour information is a valuable tool for both map display (cartographic) and scientific and resource management applications. The forecasts are provided as-is for each Census Tract in Peel in 5-year age groups for each Census year (5 year intervals from 2016 to 2041).</p><p><b>Please note:</b> there are some known issues with age forecasts when aggregating values from the Census Tract level to the municipal level.  These aggregated Census Tract values will be different than the municipal totals that are provided.  The municipal totals take precedence and provide the correct municipal-level population values.<br /></p> <p><font size='4'><b>These forecasts have not been endorsed by Regional Council and are not used for Regional Official Plan or Planning purposes.</b> These forecasts have been created to aid in other programming and estimates the Region performs and are neither official nor endorsed.</font></p><p>For Council endorsed values at the municipal level, please see Population Forecasts 2006-2031.</p> <br /> <b>When Should I Use These Forecasts?</b> <p>These forecasts, while they are not official and can't be used for Planning purposes, can still be useful to you.  They provide approximate population and age information at a sub-neighbourhood level.  This can be used to help in program or business planning with data that was never publicly available before.</p> <p><b>When Shouldn't I Use These Forecasts?</b></p> <p>If your work or research is related to the Regional Official Plan, Planning (as in city planning), or municipal infrastructure planning, then you need to look at the current Council-endorsed Forecasts that are in the current Regional Official Plan.  If you want to see the draft approved for consultation forecasts by Secondary Plan Area (SPA), they are available on the Open Data Portal.</p> <p><b>Notes</b></p> <ul> <li>These forecasts have been created to aid in other programming and estimates the Region performs and <strong>are neither official nor endorsed for Planning purposes</strong>.</li> <li>Due to rounding errors, values may not always add up to their totals.</li><li>Population values include a net under-coverage (undercount) that has been applied.<br /></li> </ul> https://data.peelregion.ca/pages/license

Woodlands provide a range of ecosystem functions including: attenuating flood flows; trapping air and water borne sediment; preventing erosion and stabilizing steep slopes; providing shade for cold water fisheries; enhancing groundwater recharge areas; providing habitat; and promoting species diversity. Woodlands may also contain remnants of old growth forests.</span></p><p><span>Woodlands are important because of their scarcity in Peel and the rest of the Greater Toronto Area. Forest management using good forestry practices is an acceptable activity within woodlands. This dataset includes lakes, ponds, reservoirs, marshes, and drainage/stormwater management ponds. Lakes have a surface area &gt;= 2 hectares, while ponds have a surface area less than 2 hectares, except when the body of water is classified as an industrial waterbody.</span></p><p><span>The identification and classification system used does not follow the </span><a href='https://www.ontario.ca/page/wildlife-and-nature' rel='nofollow ugc' target='_blank'>Ontario Wetland Evaluation System (OWES)</a><span>. 3.Pour voir les détails d’un emplacement, vous pouvez cliquer soit sur un élément dans les résultats de recherche, soit sur l’épingle d’un emplacement sur la carte et sur le lien associé au titre.
Remarque : Les groupes servent à donner un aperçu visuel de l’emplacement des données. Puisqu’un maximum de 50 emplacements peut s’afficher sur la carte, il est possible que vous n’obteniez pas un portrait exact du nombre total de résultats de recherche.
