2014 The objective of this survey was to investigate commute patterns among Queen's employees and to assess whether transit improvements have stimulated interest and willingness among Queen's employees to take Kingston Transit to commute to work. The survey data collected here will also serve as a baseline for subsequent surveys that will assess change in commute patterns to Queen's over time. The findings from this research will offer insights to researchers interested in the impacts of public transit as population health interventions, as well as to Queen's University in terms of understanding how members of their community could make better use of a key public resource in Kingston.

2021-03-15 This dataset includes processed gas injection images to support the analysis presented in "Overcoming the model-data-fit problem in porous media: A quantitative method to compare invasion-percolation models to high-resolution data". Images are presented as processed saturations, following post-processing quality assurance and Light Transmission Methods (LTM) conversion. Images are in chronological order from the beginning of injection. The timestamp presented in the file name are global times therefore, change in time can be calculated from the beginning of injection.

2018 Authors simulate a fire crisis in a certain location and a set of participants who are within the vicinity of the crisis. The participants sense the air temperature using their sensor devices from different locations and time. In addition to the temperature, each contribution attaches the spatial-temporal of the sensed data and the participant’s metadata. This dataset consists of two parts, sensors dataset and participants dataset. The sensors dataset considers the crisis environment and sensor data, i.e., temperature, date, time and location of sensing. The participants dataset deliberates participants personal data, i.e., age, gender, height, weight and health condition.

2019-01-07 This dataset provides raw wave probe data for a series of experiments conducted in the Queen’s Landslide Flume using water flowing down a thirty-degree slope to generate impulse waves. A total of 41 tests were completed using four source volumes that increased incrementally from 0.1-0.4 m3 in water depths (relative to z = 0 m at the base of the flume) ranging from 0.15-0.65 m in increments of 0.05 m.
