Joshua Chan 2014-12-16 FREMP maintains a database of habitat compensation sites in the Fraser River. These sites have been digitized and are linked to the database. The locational information for many of these sites comes from the FREMP Coordinated Project Review (CPR) files. Most of the CPR files do not contain specific geographic coordinates indicating the location of a site. Some files contain detailed maps, others do not. As such, the sites digitized from these files are approximate, and should not be taken as definite or final. More information about a site may be available in the CPR files at the FREMP office. DESCRIPTION OF GEOGRAPHIC EXTENT: Fraser River, British Columbia, Canada (from Kanaka Creek and the outlet of Pitt Lake downstream to Georgia Strait including the outer banks from Point Grey to the U.S. border and Boundary Bay) https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content?id=1AAACC9C65754E4D89A118B875E0FBDA

Joshua Chan 2014-12-16 Fraser river estuarine habitat classified into five habitat types: estuarine marsh; riparian vegetation (trees); riparian vegetation (grassy or shrubby banks); intertidal mudflat; and intertidal sandflat. The habitat inventory data were mapped onto the original FREMP paper maps from September 1986 and June 1989 air photos, and summer 1988 and 1990 fieldwork. These data were digitized directly from the paper maps. https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content?id=1AAACC9C65754E4D89A118B875E0FBDA
