Manitoba Maps 2017-07-19 <p>This dataset is comprised of boundary geometry representing the zones in the Zoning bylaws (as defined in <em>The Planning Act</em>) in force and effect within the Province of Manitoba.</p> <p>Spatial referencing of the zones is based on the best available land parcel data for each municipality. Where available, land parcel data based on registered survey plans and ground control coordinates was used. Otherwise, the reference grid maintained by Manitoba Sustainable Development was used. The delineation of the boundaries is set by the bylaw establishing or amending the boundary of each zone. Dataset content is subject to:</p> <ol> <li>Ongoing changes in zone boundaries which are determined by amendments to adopted Zoning bylaws or the adoption of new Zoning bylaws.</li> <li>Ongoing development and maintenance of the land parcel datasets. Data is based </span><span>on </span><a href='http://www.asc-csa.gc.ca/eng/satellites/default-eo.asp'><span style='font-weight:bold;'>RADARSAT – 1 </span></a><span>satellite imagery. </span><span>During processing, </span><span>the </span><span>raw data</span><span>set</span><span> was resampled to 12.5 meter pixel resolution, then classified using PCI Geomatica software which is a specialized software designed to manipulate space born imagery.</span><span> The final output depicting the flooding boundary is available as a TIFF or Shapefile.</span></p><p></p><p><span>Launched in November 1995, </span><span>RADARSAT-1 </span><span>was a Canadian-led project which provided useful information to both commercial and scientific users in such fields as disaster management, agriculture, cartography, hydrology, forestry, oceanography, ice studies and coastal monitoring. Equipped with a powerful synthetic aperture radar (SAR) instrument, it acquired images of the Earth day or night, in all weather and through cloud cover, smoke and haze.</span><span><span> As of March 2013, the satellite was declared non-operational and is no longer collecting data.</span></span></p><p></p><p><span>Many applications were developed to take advantage of RADARSAT-1 capacity for detecting the presence of water. Each record contains information such as waterbody name, fish species, fish size and quantities, as well as the fishing division of the waterbody. Stocking data is updated multiple times per year as the Province of Manitoba Hatchery conducts stocking. The stocking data layer, along with related information, can be found at the <a href='https://experience.arcgis.com/experience/2557cda82dcc4a348fbb71304cedcf6d' target='_blank' rel='nofollow ugc noopener noreferrer'>Manitoba Lake Information For Anglers</a> app.</p> <p>The project was initiated by Manitoba Wildlife and Fisheries Branch with funding from the Fish and Wildlife Enhancement Fund. Instructions pour la recherche cartographique

1.Activez le filtre cartographique en cliquant sur le bouton « Limiter à la zone sur la carte ».
2.Déplacez la carte pour afficher la zone qui vous intéresse. Maintenez la touche Maj enfoncée et cliquez pour encadrer une zone spécifique à agrandir sur la carte. Les résultats de la recherche changeront à mesure que vous déplacerez la carte.
3.Pour voir les détails d’un emplacement, vous pouvez cliquer soit sur un élément dans les résultats de recherche, soit sur l’épingle d’un emplacement sur la carte et sur le lien associé au titre.
Remarque : Les groupes servent à donner un aperçu visuel de l’emplacement des données. Puisqu’un maximum de 50 emplacements peut s’afficher sur la carte, il est possible que vous n’obteniez pas un portrait exact du nombre total de résultats de recherche.
