2021-04-12 These lat/long coordinates correspond to spatial areas in Edmonton where naturalization has been used as a landscape management approach. Naturalization is an ecologically-based approach to landscape management used to transform highly-maintained land to a more natural condition. Naturalized areas in Edmonton are either constructed (for example, storm water management ponds or bioswales) or converted (formerly mowed turf transformed to a naturalized area). These converted areas may remain naturalized grass or be planted with trees and shrubs. Citizens can volunteer to plant in these areas through the Root for Trees program. 2020-10-06 These structure, isopach and zero edge files are part of a series of stratigraphic framework maps for the Saskatchewan Phanerozoic Fluids and Petroleum Systems (SPFPS) project. The series of stratigraphic framework maps for the Saskatchewan Phanerozoic Fluids and Petroleum Systems (SPFPS) project have been produced using 2 km equi-spaced modified grids generated from Golden Software’s Surfer 9 kriging algorithm. The dataset used to produce each of the maps in this series was created using data from several projects completed by the Ministry (Christopher, 2003; Saskatchewan Industry and Resources et al., 2004; Kreis et al., 2004; Marsh and Heinemann, 2006; Saskatchewan Ministry of Energy and Resources et al., 2007; Heinemann and Marsh, 2009); these data were validated and edited as required to facilitate correlations between the various regional projects. In addition, to minimize edge effects during contouring, the senior author also generated stratigraphic data from wells in adjacent jurisdictions. It is the third edition in a series of maps, which show both natural and man-made features such as relief, spot heights, administrative boundaries, secondary and side roads, railways, trails, wooded areas, waterways including lakes, rivers, streams and rapids, bridges, buildings, mills, power lines, terrain, and land formations. This map was published in 1975 and the information on the map is current as of 1972. Maps were produced by Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) and it's preceding agencies, in partnership with other government agencies. <b>Please note:</b> image / survey capture dates can span several years, and some details may have been updated later than others. 2013-07-05 Hours of work for drivers including bus operators, city motor vehicle operators, and highway motor vehicle operators involved in the interprovincial and international transport of goods or passengers and in the transport of mail on contract with Canada Post are modified by the Motor Vehicle Operators Hours of Work Regulations, replacing sections 169 and 171 of Part III of the Canada Labour Code. The ESDC - Labour Program conducts motor vehicle operator surveys for drivers employed by a federal jurisdiction employer to establish whether a driver is considered to be a city motor vehicle operator or a highway motor vehicle operator. The surveys also determine the prevailing industry practice in the geographical area where the driver is employed. If a driver is uncertain whether a particular survey applies to them, they should contact their local Labour Program office. 2015-06-10 This data provides the integrated cadastral framework for the specified Canada Land. The cadastral framework consists of active and superseded cadastral parcel, roads, easements, administrative areas, active lines, points and annotations. The cadastral lines form the boundaries of the parcels. COGO attributes are associated to the lines and depict the adjusted framework of the cadastral fabric. The cadastral annotations consist of lot numbers, block numbers, township numbers, etc. The cadastral framework is compiled from Canada Lands Survey Records (CLSR), Registration Plans (RS) and Location Sketches (LS) archived in the Canada Lands Survey Records. Ces données fournissent le cadastre intégré pour la Terre du Canada spécifiée. 2022-07-25 In 2016-2019 water samples were collected at Lake of the Woods as part of a research program to determine sources and fate of nutrients in nearshore areas. These included samples of lake water, groundwater, streams, and septic wastewater. The samples were analyzed for nutrients (total and dissolved P, nitrogen species, artificial sweeteners and other trace contaminants, major ions and various dissolved metals and other elements. Some of these data have been used/published in journal articles (Robertson et al., 2019, 2021; Van Stempvoort et al., 2019, 2020, 2021; Danielescu et al., 2021). De 2016 à 2019, des échantillons d’eau ont été prélevés dans le lac des Bois dans le cadre d’un programme de recherche visant à déterminer les sources et le devenir des nutriments dans les zones littorales. 2015-06-22 This data provides the integrated cadastral framework for the specified Canada Land. The cadastral framework consists of active and superseded cadastral parcel, roads, easements, administrative areas, active lines, points and annotations. The cadastral lines form the boundaries of the parcels. COGO attributes are associated to the lines and depict the adjusted framework of the cadastral fabric. The cadastral annotations consist of lot numbers, block numbers, township numbers, etc. The cadastral framework is compiled from Canada Lands Survey Records (CLSR), Registration Plans (RS) and Location Sketches (LS) archived in the Canada Lands Survey Records. 2018-06-19 The notice of deterioration makes it possible to link violations of the Regulation respecting the health, maintenance and safety of dwellings (03-096) and the Regulation respecting the maintenance of buildings (07-034) to specific buildings through an entry in the Quebec land register. It is used to prevent a homeowner from avoiding sanctions by selling their property to a related company or another buyer. This power is used in the case of buildings subject to deterioration likely to affect the health or safety of the occupants, and whose owner does not carry out the required repair, repair or maintenance work within the prescribed time limits. A notice of regularization is issued when all the violations related to the building are corrected and has the effect of withdrawing the notice of deterioration. Patient privacy is protected since only population-level summaries are shared by the provinces and territories. Tracking health conditions through this approach complements other surveillance data sources, such as surveys and registries, and allows for timely reporting to support the planning and evaluation of policies and programs. The Public Health Agency of Canada used provincial and territorial data to create the Pan-Canadian data, available on this website.
