The geophysical surveys included ground-penetrating radar (GPR) (100 MHz-antenna) and EM-resistivity. Three longitudinal transects over the road surface were completed with the Gem-2 (EM-resistivity apparatus) and the Pulse-Ekko Pro (GPR). Two longitudinal transects at the toe of the road slopes were completed with the GPR. One of this transect extended from sub-section YG1 to YG9 on the northern side of the road while the other transect was located from sub-section YG10 to YG12 on the southern side of the road. Twelve transversal transects of the sub-sections, which extended in the natural ground adjacent to the sub-sections, were conducted with the GPR.
