Description:
The Canadian Digital Health Survey is a series of surveys conducted annually commissioned by Canada Health Infoway (Infoway) through a third-party vendor. Overall, the main objective of the ATS surveys is to investigate interest and use of digital health technologies nation-wide.
Notes: Data collection: Respondents to the 2018 and 2019 survey were from Harris Poll Online
(HPOL) — Nielsen’s proprietary panel — supplemented with sample from other Nielsen-vetted partner panels. Fieldwork for the 2018 survey was conducted from March 29 – April 26, 2018 and fieldwork for the 2019 survey was conducted from February 25 – March 18, 2019. A total of 2,406 were sampled in 2018 and 4,335 were sampled in 2019 using Canadian general population proportions by age, gender and region/province. The margin of error is ± 2.0 %. All surveys were administered online in both English and French and took approximately 20 minutes to complete. Data was weighted to reflect the natural incidence of Canadians who are above the age of 18.
